The Brief

Playing in the NIFL Premier Intermediate League, Banbridge Town has a proud history and a strong community focus.

They approached us to create a modern website that would become the club’s central hub for fans, players, and sponsors. The new site needed to tell the club’s story and inspire supporters while helping the club create a stronger online presence, beyond the existing Facebook and Instagram accounts.

Key requirements included:

  • Real-time updates: Provide an up-to-date fixtures list, match results, and club news.

  • Membership: Allow fans to sign up for club membership easily through the site.

  • Events & revenue: Enable bookings for clubhouse hire and promote teamwear sales to generate income.

  • Club heritage: Showcase the club’s history and achievements to connect with supporters.

  • Sponsorship: Highlight club sponsors prominently and create opportunities to attract new partners.

  • Central communication: Offer a single platform for announcements, news, and community engagement.

  • User-friendly CMS: Ensure club staff can easily publish news, update squads, and manage fixtures.

The Challenge

The project had to accommodate a broad range of content and features while reflecting Banbridge Town’s identity. The existing online presence was minimal and lacked a central system for managing news, fixtures, and membership. We needed to integrate multiple functions, from membership sign-up forms to an events booking form.

Branding was another important consideration. We had to work with the club’s distinctive red and black colour scheme and ensure consistency with their social media look and feel. The design needed to be professional and dynamic to appeal to both long-time fans and new visitors, including away supporters. Finally, the site had to be mobile-friendly and accessible, ensuring that any user could get the information they needed on match day.

Our Approach

To tackle these requirements, we chose to build the site on Framer, a modern web design tool with a powerful content management system. We began by mapping out the site structure to include sections for news, fixtures, membership, sponsors, history, and an online store for teamwear. The visual design was crafted around the club’s red-and-black palette and incorporated the club’s existing social media imagery for consistency. We prioritised a clean, dynamic layout that feels both professional and engaging.

We also created special features to meet the brief. A custom membership sign-up form was implemented so new members can join online, feeding directly into the club’s database. The fixtures and results section was built to be easy to update after each game, ensuring fans always have the latest information. For the Events Hire, we added dedicated pages where users can learn about booking the clubhouse for private or corporate events. To honour Banbridge Town’s heritage, we set up a history timeline and a photo gallery from past seasons.

The entire project was delivered in 8 weeks. Working closely with the club ensured that the design stayed on-brand and met their expectations. The final site features bold visuals and interactive elements (like dynamic match countdowns and easy navigation) that make the experience fun and informative for supporters of all ages.

The Outcome

The new Banbridge Town FC website has become a vibrant digital home for the club. Supporters can easily find the latest news, match details, and membership information in one place. Our history section, with vintage photographs and trophy highlights, has brought the club’s story to life, connecting fans with the team’s legacy. The clean, mobile-friendly design means visiting supporters or sponsors see a professional face of the club, whether on desktop or smartphone.

Importantly, the site opens up new revenue opportunities for the club. The integrated sign-up and store features encourage applications for online membership and teamwear sales. Local businesses receive prominent exposure on the sponsor pages and banners, making it easier for the club to attract partnerships. Meanwhile, club administrators save time, allowing them to quickly publish match reports and updates through the Content Management System. Overall, our design has provided Banbridge Town F.C. with a modern, dynamic website that both celebrates its heritage and serves its community, creating a central hub that inspires confidence among supporters, players, and sponsors.
